A brave woman, with her perseverance and preparation, she makes her way in tourism, positioning herself at the top of the most representative entity of the country "Anato".


FROM TRAVEL ADVISOR TO EXECUTIVE PRESIDENT OF ANATO

Paula Cortes Calle, a native of Buga (Valle del Cauca), a brave woman and leading lawyer from the Universidad Externado de Colombia, joined the travel agency La Casa del Turismo in 1992 as a travel agent, thus starting in the world of tourism, later becoming general manager of the same company.

Her projection and talent was on the rise, arriving at ANAT0 as a member of the board of directors occupying positions as secretary and then the vice-presidency of the National Board of Directors of the Association, arriving in 2006 where she was appointed president of the National Board of Directors of the Association.

In May 2007 she began as president in charge of ANATO until January 2008, becoming titular president since February 2010.

In 2012 he achieved the regional vice-presidency for the Americas of the board of directors of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

We see how his 24 years dedicated to tourism have given him national and international recognition and at the same time the country has provided great fruits among them:

*Through Proexport, it achieves that the country's travel agencies participate in tourism fairs that are held around the world.

*Associates receive training thanks to FONTUR (National Tourism Fund).

*He has had the spokesperson of the association in the construction of regulations for the sector such as Law 1550.

*Positioning of the ANATO tourist showcase and the ANATO model to be followed in Latin America as protection for travel agencies.

*He helped in the creation of FOLATUR (Latin American Tourism Forum).

*it is currently maintained in the aforementioned cases.
